Don’t let appearances fool you, Gilbert’s man mountain physique belies an approachable and friendly character who always has time for everybody, especially if it is to discuss his lifelong passion of bodybuilding.At some early stage in his life it would seem that Gilbert discovered what we think is the elixir of youth, as he hasn’t aged in 15 years and smiles enigmatically when asked about his bus pass! A former Mr Universe competitor, and British Masters Champion his love for all things to do with the physique make him a great teacher, and he has had particular success in bringing up younger generation, patiently nurturing them and leading by example with his dedication to a life of health and fitness
