Do you want to be a part of the fastest growing and most credible personal training business in the United Kingdom?

Ultimate Performance is known throughout the PT industry for offering a different paradigm for our clients, and one of the reasons we can do this is because we are so committed to the success and ongoing development of our trainers.  A cursory glance through this website will tell you our position in the industry at large, and it should also tell you how seriously we take the Science and the Art of personal training, and how focused we are on ensuring our team is always at the forefront of education and learning.

We don’t just grow muscles, we also grow brains and nurture careers!

We are constantly on the lookout to recruit talented personal trainers and actively encourage anyone with a strong industry background to contact us directly to discuss how we may work together. Be warned, our professional standards are exacting and high, but so are the rewards!

We love trainers who are on top of their game and will move heaven and earth to give those who work with us access to the very best personal training environment and support possible.

We are always very interested in recruiting those personal trainers who would be looking to work in a highly professional strength and conditioning facility (NOT a tiny studio, NOT a corporate gym where they don’t want your clients to sweat on the furniture (sorry, machines)!) in either of our City of London or Mayfair facilities.  These are private facilities owned by Ultimate Performance, and Men’s Health have called our City gym “the best personal training facility in London”, whilst Charles Poliquin has said that UP Mayfair “is the only place to come in Europe if you want real results”!

We also have plans to expand internationally and in select areas of the United Kingdom, with a view to opening two new UP facilities by early 2013, so those people who are interested in international experience and exposure are also welcome to get in touch.  We don’t believe in letting the grass grow under our feet!

Is Ultimate Performance Outperforming The Personal Training Industry?

We think the answer is a resounding “yes”…

June 2009: Nick Mitchell opened the first Ultimate Performance gym, the 3,000 sq foot UP City, with one other full-time PT on the team.

May 2010: The UP City team comprised 10 full-time personal trainers working exclusively with UP clients.

May 2011: The UP City team comprised 16 full-time trainers, we were online training 20 clients, and negotiations were complete for UP Mayfair.

November 2011: UP Mayfair, the 5,000 sq foot most state of the art personal training gym in Europe, opens to widespread acclaim.

April 2012: Ultimate Performance Education is launched with the first weekend course selling out its 50 places in less than 12 hours.

May 2012: UP London now employs 28 full-time personal trainers across UP City and UP Mayfair, with 4 trainers now acting as managers with differing levels of responsibility.  We were online training in excess of 100 clients.

The Future: negotiations are underway to expand both nationally and internationally with 2 more UP gyms before May 2013.  We now nurture our own PT talent in house with UP Education and our own internal training schemes, and are building the company from the bottom up so that our current PTs will be seen as the industry leaders of the future.

We are now hiring for the following roles:

This a role that would suit a trainer with several years PT experience and a track record in helping clients to achieve physical transformations.

Education is less important than real world results, and you must look the part as well as be able to produce consistent body composition results for your clients.  However, positive weight will be given to those with Poliquin qualifications, BioSignature Modulation certification, and UP Education courses / certifications.

We will consider younger and older trainers for this role, but you must be confident in your abilities as you will need to be able to stand next to some of the best personal trainers in the industry and seem credible and comparable.

You must be a qualified Personal Trainer, and you could have between 0-5 years PT experience.

This is a one-year contract for a full time role that will include an involvement in all aspects of the Ultimate Performance business, including personal training, boot camps, and UP Education.

It is a role for a character who wants to get stuck into their work and is not frightened of long hours and having their performance scrutinised.

The role can best be defined as “learning whilst doing”, and the goal of UP is to educate and mould a first class personal trainer who can step up into the full time UP PT team once the one year contract has been completed.

Salary will be dependent upon experience, and there will be a year-end bonus element that will be directly linked and transparently measured against the successful candidate’s performance.
