‘I approached UP as an overweight 35 year old looking for help to lose my extra pounds and improve my overall muscle tone. I hadn’t trained for two years and I had let myself go. My initial BioSignature modulation assessment revealed I had a body fat % which was flirting dangerously close to obesity. This certainly wasn’t the diagnosis I expected, but it was enough of an incentive to signup for the ‘UP Meltdown’ programme and a radical change in my lifestyle and diet.
UP put me in touch with Glenn, an ex-para. Sadly for me it was the paratroopers rather than the para-legal field and I spent the next 6 weeks being ‘beasted’ into a sweaty submissive pulp by Glenn. Glenn is by far the best trainer I have worked with, very personable and laughs at all of my jokes, but he shows no mercy in pushing you to your limits and beyond. He promotes good strong form, so you learn as you train and knows when and what to say at the right time and when to step in to get you through the sticking point of a move. It is undeniably brutal and you get out what you put in, but I couldn’t have achieved what I have without Glenn and I’ve already signed up for another six weeks!’

“I had the realisation that, as I was in my 30s, I wasn’t going to get fit through a piecemeal, half-hearted approach. Hence, I decided it was time to stop putting off until tomorrow what could be done today, and throw everything at my health and fitness for 6 months to see what would happen
