Ben Lauder-Dykes is in many ways the photo-fit of the ideal UP personal trainer. One look at his physique shows you that he is more than comfortable with practicing exactly what he preaches, and as an articulate and intelligent man he fits the professional mould of the UP trainer far more than the stereotypical gym bunny still to be found in commercial gyms. Above all else, Ben is serious about producing world-class results for his clients and brings a high level of seriousness and dedication to all aspects of the coaching process.
Gym time is crucial to becoming the best personal trainer possible, and his efforts to reach the final 12 of the prestigious Men’s Health cover model competition in 2009 helped to set Ben on the path to continually learning new ways to improve the health and fitness of himself and his clients. Much of this knowledge was crystallised when he studied Charles Poliquin’s BioSignature Modulation theories, as well as most recently attending the Poliquin (PICP) Level 1 and 2 coaching certifications.
Anyone who spends just a little time with Ben is struck by his energy and hunger to be the best possible personal trainer and to do whatever it takes to help his client’s achieve their own physical, and often mental, transformations. He may not be the right personal trainer for those who want an easy ride, but he is the right one for those who want a truly successful outcome!
