One of the most important supplements that I include in my clients’ supplementation protocol is a high quality FISH OIL.

A good quality fish oil will have high levels of EPA and DHA, many of the cheaper brands contain very low concentrations of these fatty acids and end up costing more per gram of EPA and DHA than more reputable brands.

Omega 3 fatty acids are beneficial for a number of reasons, they:

BALANCE the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fats in the body which REDUCES INFLAMMATION the primary cause of stress in the body. Less inflammation means less cortisol being released.

Improve CELL MEMBRANE FUNCTION

Improve COGNITIVE FUNCTION and MOOD.

The majority of people, even those who stick to a clean diet (a lot of red meat, eggs, avocado, nuts) will have an Omega 3:Omega 6 ratio that is out of balance for a healthy body.

To prevent this, include more sources of fatty fish (wild salmon, sardines) in your diet and supplement with a GOOD QUALITY fish oil.
