Our Passion

This is the page where we are supposed to tell you all about ourselves. Sure, we could easily scribble something here that would read exactly the same as the handful of leading London personal training businesses who see themselves as our competitors. You know the drill – “we are a team of the best personal trainers in London. We have numerous top flight qualifications, and will help you lose fat / tone up / look like Brad Pitt / move like Lara Croft…”. But if some other personal trainer can write that, what good does it do you in educating yourself as to why Ultimate Performance represents a different fitness paradigm.

You want the lowdown on what we stand for, and why and how that will benefit you. What you don’t need is to read self indulgent, self congratulatory backslapping about how great we are.

Our Philosophy

Ultimate Performance was founded for one simple reason – to create and execute the most effective consultative health and fitness model in the personal training industry. This is the part where our passion bubbles over, and we can leave behind the analytical pragmatism and proven science that we apply to other facets of the business. Quite simply we are evangelical in our dedication and enthusiasm to constantly improve our offering, and remain at the forefront of the forward thinking, real world application of all aspects of physical conditioning. We eat, sleep and breathe health and fitness, are on call 24/7, travel all over the world to learn from the best in their fields, and it shows in the spectacular results we achieve for our clients and for ourselves. We are unique in that we both talk the talk, and walk the walk – armchair experts abound, but you will find that we are top athletes (in some case world class) as well as academically tested coaches and trainers. After all if you can’t train yourself who can you train?

Ultimate Performance was formed by individuals who in the past would train people for free in their spare time, such was their fascination with improving the human body. The fulfillment we feel from helping someone achieve their goals, be they an elite athlete or a middle aged housewife, is what drives us constantly forward. We believe that anyone can effect positive change if they put their mind to it, and we will move heaven and earth to ensure that each and every person who enters our premises leaves a happier, more confident, and healthier person.

The other areas of this website stand for themselves as to why we are different (and dare we say better) and how we understand our clients’ many and varied needs, so this is the area where we set aside some time for you to understand us. If we can communicate our passion then we have shown you one of the biggest and most important traits you should be looking for in a personal trainer. Ultimate Performance was founded on the belief that excellence and achievement don’t happen by accident, but through the rigourous application of intelligent process and what we like to term “educated effort”. Our goals are very simple – to help our clients achieve their dreams through the highest level of personal training and overall fitness coaching. For us, nothing else counts, and our business is run as a direct reflection of that singular aim.

Our clients trust us to get them where they want to go in the shortest space of time, and in the most enjoyable manner. We have a method and a model behind everything that we do, and constantly adapt and tweak that to each unique individual’s different circumstances, physical make up, and goals. Our passion and commitment to sustained excellence has helped us to be acknowledged as some of the very best personal trainers in our home market of London, and that isn’t an accolade that happens by accident. Not with us will you ever find the latest health fad and exercise gimmick – there are no power plates in our programmes! We want what works for our clients – if something is effective we keep it, if not we discard it immediately.

We have assembled our own dream team of trainers, who can be called upon to collectively advise any one client on his / her particular needs.
